Survival courses and medicals:

A valid offshore survival certificate is required for working offshore in the UK sector.  Requirements may vary in other sectors.

PAM training:

PAMGUARD training courses are run by SMRU Limited in St. Andrews. Where possible MMO and PSO courses are timed to run in the same week as the PAMGUARD training course.

MMOA:

MMOA - the Marine Mammal Observer Association (MMOA) is a newly formed, membership based association with the aim of bringing together and representing individuals who work commercially and professionally as MMOs and Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operators.
