Open courses run at least every 2-3 months; private courses for groups as required.

Three standard MMO training courses are offered: a course for MMOs working in UK waters, a refresher course for UK MMOs, and a course for Protected Species Observers (PSOs) working in the Gulf of Mexico.  Other courses may be arranged as required.

The UK MMO training course and the Gulf of Mexico PSO course are accepted by the UK Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) and the US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) respectively. They are separate courses, as preferred by JNCC and BOEM; however, these courses may be run on consecutive days, as permitted by both organisations.
